Institute of Mercantile Agents Limited established in 1961 and
represents the professional interests of collectors,
investigators, process servers and repossession agents
throughout Australia.
A team of elected volunteer executives,
networked throughout all Australian States and Territories work
on matters of licensing, privacy, training and ethics affecting
members.

The AIPI and GlobalX
Information Services (trading as Access Business
Information) have formed an agreement to provide
enhanced services to Members of the AIPI.
GlobalX provides a wide variety of online
information to suit your needs, including access to
land ownership information (all states), aerial
photographs of key metropolitan areas, Company and
Business Name searches, Director Name searches, ITSA
bankruptcy information, and electoral-role style
address and occupancy information.

The Institute shall be non-political
and non-sectarian. |

The integrity and reliability of
members must be beyond reproach. |

03. |
A member shall not negligently,
maliciously or willingly injure
directly or indirectly the
reputation, prospects or business of
another member of the
Institute/Investigation profession. |

All inquiries and investigations
undertaken by members must be
conducted by members must be

of the states and Commonwealth of
Australia and the AIPI Code of
Ethics. |

Members shall not disclose

consent of their
principal/employer/client. |

Develop and promote the AIPI as the
premier organization of professional
investigators in Australasia through
government and private sector
